Ireland Lights Up & Steps Challenge 2026
Ballynacargy GAA is delighted to announce the return of the "Ireland Lights Up" initiative in conjunction with the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge. After the success of previous years, we are throwing open our gates once again to help the community start the new year on the right foot.
Begun Thursday, January 8th, and continuing every Thursday for five weeks, our walking track will be fully lit from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Whether you are looking to put those new Christmas Fitbits and smartwatches to the test, aiming to hit your step goals, or simply fancy a breath of fresh air and a friendly chat with neighbours, this event is for everyone.
Come down and join us for some exercise, community spirit, and a bright start to 2026!
ALL-IRELAND FINAL BOUND!
Everyone at Ballynacargy GAA would like to send the very best of luck to Ciara Carey and Isabelle Maher as they head to the INEC, Killarney, for the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg finals this weekend!
We are also sending our best wishes to our neighbors at Bunbrosna GAA. It is a massive achievement to reach this stage, and we couldn’t be prouder of how Isabelle and Ciara have represented us so far.
For those who can't make the trip to Kerry, we will be watching the final live on YouTube with full support for Isabelle, Ciara and their teammates.
A Significant Milestone for the Blue & Gold
It is with immense pride and a deep sense of tradition that Ballynacargy GAA celebrates the selection of Tristan Boyce-Jordan and Cathal Keena to the 2026 County Minor panel.
This achievement marks a special moment in our club’s history. In earning their place, Tristan and Cathal walk a path paved by the legends of our club who have previously worn the county colors. While they follow in those historic footsteps, they also break a several-year hiatus, bringing the Ballynacargy spirit back to the inter-county minor stage.
This honor is a direct result of their unwavering dedication, talent, and character. To both young men: your selection is richly deserved, and you carry the best wishes of every member, supporter, and neighbor in the village.
We are 100% behind you as you represent us on the big stage. Comhghairdeas libh!
A Fresh New Look for 2026!
Spring is definitely in the air at Moynihan Park! To celebrate the start of the new season, we’ve given our dressing rooms and clubhouse a fresh coat of paint to brighten things up.
A massive thank you to the incredible crew of volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to get the job done. Our home is looking better than ever because of your hard work!
This is only the beginning. Renovations are in full swing, and we have big plans for the grounds this year. Make sure to keep an eye on our socials for some exciting updates coming soon.
Bigger and brighter things are on the way for Ballynacargy!
