Sport Beyond Boundaries: Congratulations Mostrim United!
At Ballynacargy GAA, we’ve always believed that sport transcends the sidelines. If we’ve learned anything, it’s this: the more sport our youth play, the more our community thrives and the stronger our club becomes.
That is why we are bursting with pride to congratulate Mostrim United Boys on topping their league group this week! We are sending them every bit of luck as they prepare for their upcoming Cup Final.
Local Stars in the Spotlight
We want to give a massive "well done" to our own Inny Shamrock players who are making waves on the Mostrim United panel: Evan Maguire; Cian McCormack; Jake White & Conor Scanlon
Whether it’s the grip of a size 4 O’Neills or a soccer ball at their feet, these lads have proven themselves to be elite ambassadors for their clubs and their community.
100% Behind You
We can’t wait to see the result, lads. Rest assured, the entire Ballynacargy GAA family is cheering you on every step of the way. Bring it home!
Chapter Four: Friday Night Under the Lights
Steady progress remains the name of the game as we keep moving through the early season.
The last few weeks have been all about finding our feet and getting back into the swing of things. It’s been great to see the group just enjoying their football and working hard for one another without any fuss. That same relaxed, team-first approach is exactly what we’re bringing into the next round.
This Friday, we’re heading over to Fr Growney Park. It’s just another opportunity for the lads to get a good run-out and keep building that match fitness. There’s no big script or added weight on anyone's shoulders—just a chance to get some more minutes into the legs against Rosemount in our latest Division 4 outing.
To our supporters: if you’re looking for a low-key way to spend your Friday evening, feel free to drop by. We always appreciate the quiet encouragement from the sideline, and it’s a nice way to support the club in a calm, pressure-free atmosphere.
The Details:
Opponent: Rosemount (ACFL Div 4) When: Friday, March 13th @ 8:00 PM Where: Fr Growney Park Referee: John Gallagher
It’ll likely be a cool evening once the sun goes down, so make sure to wrap up well if you're coming along. We’re looking forward to a fair game and another honest shift from the group. No pressure, no frills—just the lads out on the pitch doing their bit.
See you there.
