Well done to our Division 5 footballers who recorded a 3-18 to 5-9 win over Delvin, at Moynihan Park today.

Goals from Jude McGuinness, Tadhg Conroy and Jack Doran paved the way for a three-point victory. Bal' led by 1-13 to 2-2 at the interval and a gripping second half ensued, with a resurgent Delvin finishing strongly to almost grab a share of the spoils at the final whistle. The 13-a-side format lent to a very open, entertaining contest and having led by 11 points after 40 minutes, Bal' were worthy winners even allowing for a heart-stopping finish. Well done to all involved.

The action will continue next Tuesday, April 26, with a Division 3 game against Mullingar Shamrocks in Moynihan Park (7.30pm). On Thursday, April 28, we meet Milltown in Division 5.
