CROKE PARK BOUND! THE DREAM IS REAL!

The roar from the village just got a whole lot louder! A massive, heartfelt congratulations to Coláiste Mhuire on an incredible All-Ireland Semi-Final victory at Abbottstown.

To take on the best in the country and secure a spot in the Hogan Cup Final is the stuff of legends. The grit, the hunger, and that "never-say-die" attitude we’ve seen all season were on full display once again.

Our Local Heroes

A special shout-out to our very own Ballynacargy stars who continue to do us proud on the national stage:

  • Tristan Boyce-Jordan and James Baird
Lads, you’ve put in the hard yards, and now you’re rewarded with the greatest stage of them all. To see two of our own walking out at Croke Park is a moment of immense pride for every man, woman, and child in the village.

Keeping the momentum going

A productive outing for the second league game today against Tyrrellspass. The pitch was in great condition for this time of year, and it was good to see the lads settle into the rhythm of the game early on.

Full Time:
Ballynacargy: 6-10
Tyrrellspass: 0-06

It was a steady performance with plenty of hard work put in across every position. We’re happy to get another result under our belts and keep building as a group.

We have a break next week to regroup and get back to training before the next fixture. Thanks to everyone for the support on the sideline!

A Night of Champions: Inny Shamrocks 2025
What a sea of blue, white and gold! The room was electric as we gathered for a massive turnout to honor our U14 and U16 Inny Shamrocks medal recipients.

More Than Just Silver
Winning a trophy is an incredible feat, but the real victory is the grit, the sweat, and the unwavering dedication these young men showed all season long. To these lads, lifting these medals is our very own All-Ireland—a moment that proves hard work always pays off.

Building a Legacy
From those first nervous games years ago to the powerhouse Inny Shamrocks has become today, the growth has been phenomenal.

We at Ballynacargy GAA couldn’t be prouder of:
The Players: For their heart on the pitch.
The Mentors: For their tireless guidance.
The Parents: For being the backbone of every training session and match.

A Special Guest
A massive "Thank You" to Westmeath’s own Luke Loughlin for joining us. It was a true honor to have Luke present the medals and share his powerful experiences from both the field and life. His words of encouragement are exactly what the next generation needs to hear as they keep chasing their dreams.

The future of the Shamrocks is bright, and tonight showed exactly why!
